Cooking in a Finished Kitchen

 Today our quartz countertops were installed! It totally changed the look of our kitchen.  They are just beautiful.  I waited over a year to get countertops I wanted as I wasn't prepared to spend thousands on granite or quartz. I stuck to it and kepts looking for offcuts as I have a galley kitchen so I knew eventually someone would have a few cheaper offcuts that will work.  After a recommendation to Classic Granite and Marble (https://www.classicgraniteandmarble.com/our-impact) I found offcuts of marble looking quartz for a low price.

Not only do I decorate I also spend a lot of time cooking right now.  I found this amazing summer stew recipe I am making tonight that I thought I would share to the blog.  Of course I feel very posh chopping vegetables on a new countertop.
